BIRTH CERTIFICATE OF A DECEASED PERSON
What’s the significance of the birth certificate of a person who is no more? It’s a sensitive question but needs an answer because there are chances that the identity of a deceased person can get stolen, or the deceased person leaves his/her property in your care as the executor or administrator. So, if you are the next of kin of a person who is no more, you must provide the proof of death along with a proof of your relationship with the deceased person while ordering his/her birth certificate.
In order to apply for a birth certificate in Calgary in such instances, you need to provide proof of death along with a copy of the will of the deceased with your name mentioned in it as the personal representative.
